Center for Glass and Ceramics Play

The Glass and Ceramic Centre is the place to where both Kracovians and tourists can learn all about the history and technology of glass art. Exhibitions of works by contemporary Polish artists are organized on a daily basis, but the best thing the place offers is live demonstrations. Making hand-moulded glass in a blast furnace is the crux of the place, because people visiting the centre have the opportunity to follow the unforgettable creation process. The centre offers unique handmade glassware and ceramic products such as figurines, bowls, glasses, plates and even jewellery and jewel caskets. The building of The Glass and Ceramic Centre also includes a training centre for students from the Academy of Fine Arts and the University of Science and Technology, and organizes regular and lab-based classes on the production of glass, ceramics and building materials. Every art freak will be delighted with this place!
