The oldest of the 5 mounds rising above Krakow is not only an excellent viewpoint of the Old Town, but also an ancient burial site and a place of archeological excavations. It's also where once a year, on the first Tuesday after Easter, a traditional celebration called "Rękawka" takes place, with dozens of historical reenactment groups, artisans and craftspeople presenting their passion.
Since it's a bit more distant from the city center, the mound and the surrounding green areas make a great place for a longer walk.
