It's a Museum-Memorial, which tells the story of the Holodomor – genocide of the Ukrainian people, organized by the Communist Party (Soviet/ Russian regime) in 1932-1933.
According to inconclusive data, Ukraine lost at least 7 million people of its population during those years due to man-made famine. It's not an entertaining museum but it's important to know different pages of the Ukrainian history.
They have good exhibits to understand what was available for eating at those times. There is also a very good English tour with the guide - 100% recommend.
