St. Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv is a Christian cathedral in the center of Kyiv. It is a monument of Ukrainian architecture and monumental painting of the second decade of the 11th century (1011–1018). This is one of the few surviving buildings of the Kyivan Rus’ time.
There are unique graffiti and frescos from the 11-12th century depicting the language and history of those times.
You may also climb the bell tower and have an amazing view from there.
