The Monument to the Ghetto Heroes in Warsaw was unveiled in 1948 to honor the Jewish fighters and victims of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising of 1943. Designed by Natan Rapoport, the monument stands in what was once the heart of the ghetto. Its centerpiece is a bronze relief depicting Jewish resistance fighters in battle, symbolizing their courage and struggle against Nazi oppression. The reverse side shows a procession of persecuted Jews, emphasizing the suffering of the victims. Located near the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews, the monument remains a powerful symbol of remembrance and resilience.
